KVPT is a US-based charitable corporation with 501-C3 status and
the only international organization exclusively dedicated to
architectural preservation in the Kathmandu Valley.

KVPT is the only such agency registered with the Nepal
Government, Social Welfare Council.

KVPT executes nearly all projects on a turn-key basis and works in
cooperation with Nepal's Department of Archaeology, the official
agency for cultural heritage preservation.

With minimal overheads in the States and relying largely on
volunteer professional support, KVPT puts your contribution to work
on actual preservation projects.

Our current fundraising goal is to raise $450,000 to complete Phase
I of the Patan Royal Palace complex.

We offer special opportunities to "adopt" specific projects within the
larger project.

Several examples of specialized activities which require support are:

- Crafts development
- gallery of Architecture
